Bryse Wilson Discusses Win Over Northwood
Bryse Wilson struck out 11 in Orange’s 2-1 win over Northwood on Wednesay. Not only that, but he scored the game-winning run in the sixth inning on a wild pitch. The win put Orange back in sole possession of first place in the Big 8 Conference with a 6-1 record, a game ahead of Northwood. The Chargers visit the Panthers Friday at 6. Bryse Wilson Talks His 15 Strikeout Game vs. ECH
Bryse Wilson is now 4-0 on the season after striking out 15 in a 5-2 victory over East Chapel Hill on Monday. In a season full of accolades on the gridiron and the diamond, Wilson can now add throwing 9 strikes on nine pitches in the bottom of the third, striking out the East side. Wilson has 45 strikeouts through his first four starts.

Brad Debo Named Preseason All-American
There are various banners around the baseball press box at Panthers Field, honoring past All-Conference, All-District and All-State players. Now, there’s not only going to be a new name, but a new banner entirely: All-American.
Catcher Brad Debo was named a member of the American Insurance All USA Preseason Team by USA Today last week. Debo, who committed to play at South Carolina in 2014, is hitting .483 with two home runs and eleven RBIs through Orange’s 9-0 start.

Orange’s Brian Werden Talks his 1st Win
Orange sophomore pitcher Brian Werden didn’t know what to expect when he made his 1st varsity start on Wednesay against Garner. But he made it count. He earned his first victory as a Panther as Orange won 3-1. Werden retired the first eight Trojans, yielding only two hits and one earned run.
